Corporate responsibility

As a leader in corporate social responsibility, Beachcomber Hotels was the first group in Mauritius to take steps towards sustainable development. The group has designed unique strategies to save water and energy and created its own Non Governmental Organisation called Fédération Espoir et Developpement (FED) to help the community.
Beachcomber Hotels has also maintained the “Mauritian style”.

Each hotel has developed its own personality while keeping in mind the group’s philosophy of promoting Mauritian values and lifestyle. This approach guarantees a genuine experience to travelers looking for authenticity. It is also the reason why Beachcomber can define itself as a “group of hotels” instead of a chain of hotels.

Beachcomber Hotels is a Mauritian company and is committed to promote the culture and essence of the island. The company also encourages sustainable tourism development by :

  • Protecting and improving the natural environment

  • Giving back something to the community

  • Preserving and promoting the authenticity of Mauritius

In line with its policy of constant renewal, Beachcomber Hotels has important projects scheduled for launching in Mauritius and overseas.

  • A new hotel in the Seychelles

Following the success of Sainte Anne Resort & Spa, Beachcomber Hotels continues to expand in the Seychelles. The new resort scheduled to be built in Côte d’Or, will be situated on the north coast of Praslin just a 20-minute drive from the airport. The elegantly designed accommodation at the new resort will consist of 130 Suites housed in bungalows and villas, some with pools, scattered throughout the tropical gardens.

  • Royal Palm Marrakech

At the invitation of the local authorities Beachcomber Hotels was invited to establish its brand in Marrakech. The new development will be two-fold; firstly the building of the Royal Palm Marrakech and secondly the development of an exclusive real estate village which will match the hotel’s style and elegance and will be sold separately.
Royal Palm Marrakech will be situated in a lush palm grove 10 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel will have 150 luxury Suites and villas, two large swimming pools, four restaurants including one at the country club which will open onto a spectacular 18-hole golf course.
